Explore the many sides of Japan, from Tokyo’s soaring high-rises to Kyoto’s traditional village.
 

 

 

ITINERARY

Day 1: September 30th - USA: Depart from USA  (Flight suggestions in December)

Day 2 : October 1st-  Arrival at Haneda airport by noon  (group transfer at 1:30 PM).
Tour orientation.  Tokyo Tower visit.   Welcome happy ho
ur.

Day 3: October 2nd - Start the day with tour of the Asakusa District.  After lunch, enjoy an art of the tea ceremony and Geisha transformation and photo session, while leaning about Japanese hospitality and etiquette, which date to the time of the samurai.   After a bit of R&R, head to the busiest crossings in the world, the Shibuya Scramble. The area is also a hub of up and coming fashion, technology and design,all showcased on brilliant, stories-high billboards. Think Times Square on steroids, without the chaos.

Day 4: October 3rd- ,Visit the Senso-ji, the oldest Temple Tokyo.  You will have time for lunch and visit the many vendors and shops   Learn the Secrets of the Samurai Warriors and test your sword skills during a  class led by a modern-day master samurai.  The evening will be filled with live music.

Day 5: October 4th - Today early morning, depart Tokyo to visit the region of the Japan’s magnificent crown jewel, Mount Fuji with a stop at Kawaguchiko Lake for photo opportunities. The region is also famous for its agriculture and in particular for its fruit and dairy products. The combination of the two are swirled into distinctively delicious Japanese ice cream.  It will be challenging to have just one cone.  Along the way, you will have a sake tasting  Return to Tokyo to spend the evening exploring the bustling Shinjuku at your own pace.

Day 6 - October 5th - Aprons on to experience the beauty of Japanese culture through a special and unique sushi making class, with a Fleace twist.  You know there will be lots fun and laughter. There will be a vegetarian option that requires advance notice.   


Day 8 - October 6th - Today is your free day to explore Kyoto on your own or with others in your Global travel tribe.  Wander down the streets of wooden houses and through centuries-old Nishiki a 390-meter long market with  400-years of history.   Return to the hotel evening join the the other

 

Day 7 - October 7th - This morning, grab your luggage (pack light) and take the bullet train to Kyoto, the city of the Geisha.  Moving at speeds approaching 200 miles per hour, the train ride is an experience in itself. The former capital of Japan, Kyoto, on the island of Honshu,  Located on the island of Honshu, Kyoto once the capital of Japan, is one of the most popular cities to visit.  Your guide will lead you to the Gion Hanamikoji, one of the few remaining Gheisa districts in Japan.  Wander down the streets of wooden houses with  400-years of history. Return to the hotel at your leisure.  Later, join the other ladies ladies for farewell drinks.

Day 8 - October 8th - The morning is yours before the afternoon group transfer to Osaka for your flight home.
